Healthy Home Assessments
Diagnose what is wrong. Then, if you choose, rebuild it healthier.
Concerned about mold, moisture, or air quality? Tell us about your home and we’ll scope the right assessment.
Get StartedOverview
For homes that have made their occupants sick.
Some clients come to SENERGY360 not for a new home, but because their current home has been affected by mold, moisture damage, poor indoor air quality, or other environmental issues. We provide Healthy Home Assessments that identify why the problems occurred and what is needed to resolve them.
Every assessment culminates in a personalized Healthy Home Assessment Blueprint, a prioritized roadmap that documents what we found, why it happened, and the specific steps needed to resolve it.
Assessments are grounded in the same CORE Systems Framework that guides our new-construction work. We evaluate the home as a set of interconnected systems rather than a list of symptoms, so the underlying causes are addressed, not just the surface issues.
For clients who choose to act on the findings, SENERGY360 can lead the build-back project, managing the rebuild against the same CORE Systems standards we apply to new construction. The home is restored to a healthier, more durable baseline rather than patched back to the state that produced the problem.
What an assessment covers
Whole-home diagnostic, not a checklist.
Building Envelope
Walls, roof, foundation, drainage, and durability detailing: the systems that determine whether moisture and mold will recur.
Indoor Air Quality
HVAC, ventilation, filtration, and humidity: the systems that govern whether your air supports long-term health.
Mold & Moisture
Source identification, inspection guidance, and remediation strategy aligned with Building Biology principles.
Materials & Furnishings
Audit of materials and furnishings for VOCs, off-gassing, and other indoor pollutant sources.
Electrical & Low-Voltage
Low-EMF assessment, hardwired vs. wireless infrastructure, and lighting strategy.
Water & Plumbing
Site-specific water quality testing and treatment review, plus a plumbing strategy audit.
How we build
Guided by the CORE DESIGN FRAMEWORK
Every project is evaluated and coordinated across twelve interconnected systems, from building envelope and materials to water, power, climate, and furnishings. Rooted in our Healthy Build & Design Specifications (HDS).
